Step inside ShuttleKnit and experience Traveller craft, culture and creativity first hand. From 2026 we are opening our Wicklow studio to school groups, community organisations and businesses.

Visitors will learn about the rich heritage of Irish Traveller women, explore our design process and discover how skills like knitting, sewing, crochet and embroidery have been passed down through generations. You will get the chance to try out our chunky knit machines and see how our embroidery machines bring new designs to life. Each tour is a rich opportunity to learn about Irish Traveller culture while experiencing the joy of making.
