In the words of Kathleen and Nan, ‘working at ShuttleKnit is much more to us than just having a job - it gives us independence, confidence and a true sense of belonging. It gives us ownership too. We're a team of 11, and many of us faced limited opportunities growing up, often leaving school early or experiencing discrimination. Here, we have found a safe and supportive environment where our skills are recognised, valued and developed. Through designing,
knitting, sewing and working together each day, we earn a steady income while taking pride in our work and in our traditions and culture which we carry
forward.

ShuttleKnit is like family to us, where we come together to share knowledge and support each other.
